Institution Prorec.SI is a member of the EuroRec Institute’s network of national Prorec centres. It was founded in April 2002 and formally established in 2003 by the Slovenian Medical Informatics Association. Prorec.SI mission is the promotion and development of EHR, implementation of European and international standards for EHR, unification of the rules in setting up electronic medical records and networking with similar institutions to provide EHR services worldwide. Recently, ProRec.SI has been actively involved in quality labeling and certification of EHR systems in South-East and Central Europe.
